Copper, Gold and Tungsten
LOCATION:
Belleterre area, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec
SIZE:
~4,900 hectares
STATUS:
Exploratory Stage
OVERVIEW
- Active exploration camp with historical Belleterre high grade gold mine along strike
- 12,854 hectares in a low-cost exploration location with infrastructure
- Numerous gold showings in the immediate area
- Tungsten from scheelite over a large surface area, a known gold pathfinder in the region and a key critical mineral.
- Presences of sulphides, including sphalerite and chalcopyrite
- Limited exploration work on property since the 1960s
- Project located along major structural fault
NeoTerrex Work
Planned exploration work for the Gravitas project, in 2025, will first focus on locating and evaluating known historic mineralization. This includes the Petosa zone which consists of a sulphide mineralization and quartz veining located 5 kilometres and on strike from the past producing Lorraine copper-nickel mine. Tungsten is also present in scheelite in widths varying from 3 to 17 feet, having been exposed in several historical trenches over a length of 150 metres. Several other areas, consisting of copper and zinc sulphides and/or gold mineralization, will also be investigated. Next steps will be determined after the reconnaissance program and are likely to include soil geochemistry and/or geophysical surveys.
