Glenn Griesbach, P. Geo
Founder and Advisor
Mr. Griesbach is a Professional Geologist with over 40 years of continuous experience in hard rock mineral exploration worldwide, with expertise in project generation and development, particularly for precious and base metals, iron, uranium, and rare earths. He has contributed to the discovery and development of economic mineral deposits in Canada, Indonesia, Iran, Liberia, Mongolia and Vietnam, and has also evaluated a number of mineral projects (for possible acquisition by Canadian clients) in Northern and Southern China. He has been a senior associate geologist with Watts, Griffis and McOuat (WGM) Ltd., taking on occasional assignments since 1997, and has worked in various capacities with major companies such as Cominco Ltd., Falconbridge Ltd., Barrick Gold Corp., Archipelago Resources PLC, and SNC-Lavalin International Inc. Mr. Griesbach has also worked for a number of junior explorers, including Normetal Exploration Ltd. (Quebec), Mascot Gold Mines Ltd. (British Columbia), and Pentland Firth Ltd (Ontario). Since 2007, as a highly successful independent prospector, Mr. Griesbach has privately staked, assembled and vended Canadian and Southeast Asian mineral properties to over 40 North American and Asia-Pacific listed companies. Mr. Griesbach holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Concordia University and is fluent in English, French, German and Indonesian. He is a registered geoscientist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). Mr. Griesbach was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves (Canadian Grenadier Guards) from 1974 to 1979. Although now residing outside Canada, Mr. Griesbach has built a particularly deep understanding of Quebec’s geology, geography, and mineral industry culture, beginning with employment by Quebec’s Ministry of Energy and Resources based in the mining town of Rouyn-Noranda in Northern Quebec.
General James (Jim) Gervais
Advisor
General Gervais graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada in 1962 with a B.Sc., and attended the Royal Military College of Science (UK). He retired from the Canadian Forces as a Lieutenant General before joining the Public Service of Canada as a senior executive. General Gervais’ military career of 35 years consisted of a variety of command and staff appointments in Canada (and abroad), leading to command of the Canadian Army in 1991. He later served for 12 years as Assistant Deputy Minister to three Governor Generals of Canada and was Chairman of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires (Ottawa Division), a not-for-profit security firm. General Gervais also co-chaired a committee of the Institute for Canadian Citizenship involved with the integration of new Canadians into society.
General Gervais also served on several boards, including Beaufield Resources, Northern Gold Mining, Sama Resources, and 48North.
Joël Dubé, P.Eng.
Consultant in Geophysics
Over his 24 years of experience in diversified working environments, Mr. Dubé has gained strong technical knowledge of virtually all geophysical methods applied to mineral exploration.
After exploring for uranium, rare earth elements, base metals and gold for Soquem in Northern Québec, Joël specialized in exploration geophysics with Val D’Or Sagax and Sagax Maghreb, where he applied several ground and borehole techniques to exploration problems for a broad range of geological environments and commodities. He spent six years based in Morocco, where he used his skills on gold, silver, base metals, cobalt and industrial minerals exploration projects. He then moved to Sander Geophysics, where he specialized in airborne data processing and interpretation, also taking part in several R&D projects. His tasks brought him to closely interact with world-class organizations such as the Geological Survey of Ireland, NASA, Petro-Vietnam, Shell, Perenco, Geological Survey of Canada, Husky Energy and British Geological Survey. At Sander Geophysics, Joël met another dedicated geophysicist with whom he started Dubé & Desaulniers Geoscience in 2012, a consulting firm offering advanced and integrated geophysical services to the mineral industry, which became Dynamic Discovery Geoscience in 2014. His most valuable contribution as a consultant occurred with the geophysically driven discovery of the Matawinie Graphite deposit developed by Nouveau Monde Graphite.
